So how many of you have got a Linked In profile? And how many of you actually use it?
Well Linked In seem to be 'following' a trend from Facebook and have realised they are lagging behind in keeping up with interaction with the likes of Facebook and Twitter.
Having a company page on Linked In hasn't been much use in the past but now if you have a company page any admins can post a status update just as your personal profile does and this will appear on your followers Linked In home page (alot like Facebook!) You can also add a link and a photo with a URL too although posts can only be 500 characters long.
Your follower can also engage by sharing, liking or commeting on your posts, which leads to interaction, raising your company profile and audience.
So now is the time to go and get yourself a company page on Linked In if you haven't already. To have the option to allow status updates you must go to your company page, click 'edit' and then click 'designated users only' and add as many admins as you want including yourself and then 'publish' the page. Now when you go back to your company front page then you will see you now have the option to post status updates. Remember aswell just like Facebook you need to post daily!
